I lost one.

What the heck? Today I noticed that I had one less follower. I'm not sure who it was because I have quite a few followers who have no pictures and rarely ever comment. I don't know why someone would stop following me but I hope it's not something I said.

I have to say I absolutely love blogging and love reading comments from fellow bloggers and I in no way ever want to offend anyone. It can be totally innocent and the person who dropped out did so for their own reasons, but it does kinda burn when that happens because it makes you feel like a friend has stopped talking to you. Waa-waa, come back, i'll be good, I pwo-mise...
JEM.

To the people who still love me, please don't forget to enter my CSN giveaway here.

  1. Awwww - I wouldn't sweat it too much! I think what happens sometimes is that once brides to be get married they stop reading the "planning" blogs.

  2. I understand how you feel but I wouldn't worry. Like Alicia said, it could be some one who got married already and didn't want to subscribe to wedding blogs anymore. It was probably one of the non-commenters so you won't miss her anyway!

  3. Ehh, it happens. I agree with Alicia & Ghenet but I also think that sometimes people don't blog, they just "follow" without being bloggers themselves and when they're not interested anymore they just delete their profile... well, that's what I tell myself anyway. LOL

  4. I agree with the other ladies, perhaps they just got rid of their blog...maybe they were planning their wedding and now that they are married they want a home and garden blog! :) But I agree that it still feels uneasy...I love getting more followers! PS thanks for the info about having a contest! :) Hope you have a great day. ♥

  5. Don’t sweat it, girl! Readers come and go for their own reasons, and I highly doubt it was because of anything you said. Maybe it’s someone who deleted her blogger account or something like that.

  6. You're so funny. Don't sweat it at all. I think I've lost 2 or 3 followers since I first started almost a year ago. I also remove some blogs from my reader/blog site/or stop following them if I feel like they don't post enough or if their recent posts don't seem to interest me. It's nothing personal, it's just hard with all that is going on in life to have time to keep up with them all.

I only keep the blogs I truly enjoy reading and feel compelled to comment on. Sometimes I follow a blog for a little while and then realize I shouldn't have ever started. Don't stress over it...you have your faithful followers and you'd be surprised how many people read and rarely ever comment! I know this because I track the number of people who view videos I post. A video will have several views but I may only have a couple of comments on my post about it. Silly but encouraging too :)

  8. Eh...it sure does happen and it does make you wonder. We all just wanna be popular!! I do try to limit blogs myself to those I am truly interested in...otherwise it could get way outta hand and too hard to keep up with. I do love this bloggie world so however few or many followers I have I'm going to keep on doin' it.

  9. Awww so sweet all of you, I feel better now. And to the one who got away, "you better watch your back". lol just kidding. I agree with all your comments because come to think of it, i've stopped following 1 or 2 blogs because they weren't going in the same direction as me.

  11. it happens! and i'm guilty of unfollowing blogs as well. nothing wrong with the blog, but it's just hard to keep track of so many sometimes. i think i have like 400+ items unread in my google reader right now, actually. eep! so don't worry about it, you still have many other faithful followers! :)

  12. Could be worse than because they finished their planning after getting married. They could have been ditched (or done the ditching)! The wedding world can be a cruel place!

As it was already said above, readers come and go. Don't worry about it ! Just keep up with your wonderful blog.

  14. Agreed! Just the other day I realized I was following a bunch of no-longer in existence blogs. I fixed that quickly! I actually plan on removing most of the wedding blogs after I get married (maybe like 6 months later cuz you can't just quit cold turkey!)
